Recently, Christina of Twinflower Photography sent us a session. When we opened up the email, we felt like we were transported back to the 50s.
A much simpler time, when life was a bit more laid back and soda pop was just a nickel.
We loved the vintage feel of this session, and wanted to share it with all of you.
Get to know Christina:

About me:
I’ve been photographing families & children full time for 2.5 yrs and have enjoyed every minute of it! I am married with 2 young boys who keep me busy. I have an identical twin sister, whose love of photography inspired me to love it too. Having experienced the joy of growing up with a brother who has Down Syndrome, I have a special place in my heart for those with special needs. In the past few years since moving from Houston to San Antonio, I’ve enjoyed rediscovering the beautiful people and sites that are unique to my hometown. My previous years were spent working with cancer patients as an RN and obtaining my Masters degree in nursing. Those experiences taught me that laughter is good medicine, attention to detail is a must, and life can change when you least expect it. So in my life and in my work I strive to show my friends & family love, treat others with respect, and have fun!
About the session:
All summer long I had been wanting to have a themed session with my 5 yr old before he started kindergarten. He played T-ball for the first time this year and loved it, so I started with that idea. Then we watched a movie called “The Perfect Game” which was about a little league team from Mexico who won the Little League World Series in 1957. He loved the movie, so I started gathering things that were reminiscent of that era…a fat finger glove, wooden bat, suspenders, and a Kodak Pony 135. The hardest part was finding an old little league field to make for the perfect setting, and when I finally found one, we headed out for some fun photos!
