A Letter to Our Readers:

Hi there, we wanted to take a minute to write about a change that will be take place with The Fort’s future issues.  We created this magazine as a resource because we wanted to help promote fellow photographers and provide an inspirational source for boy themed sessions.  We can assure you that this will not change, and it is still our mission with each issue we release.

The first couple of issues have definitely proved that there is a learning curve when creating an online publication.  As you may have noticed, with each issue, the magazine evolves.  These changes have been made, so that we can provide our readers with the highest quality of content possible.

There is one change coming up with the release of the third issue, that we wanted to explain.  After much thought and consideration, we have decided to start charging for each issue of The Fort.  The third issue (and future issues) will cost $0.99 per digital download.  We have been using our own money to float the magazine up until now.  Although we love putting it together, it takes a lot of time planning the sessions, gathering content, maintaining the blog, and laying each issue of the magazine out.  As you probably know, that means time away from our client sessions and our precious families.

Charging this minimal download fee will allow us to fund our sessions, maintain the blog, and pay for advertising.  We hope that you understand our reasoning in doing this.  We want assure you that the third issue (set to release on 9/13/12) will be one of the BEST issues yet.  You’ll be able to download the 3rd issue directly from our website and check out via PayPal.
